Your cost savings should note percentage of return condensate under present operations depending on operating conditions, maintenance costs and loss of condensate due to motor/pump breakdowns, control problems, and leakage through worn seals and pump packing.
The design of the "Single Compression Spring" pressure energized pump received the Plant Engineering Magazine 1992 Gold Award for the Best Fluid Handling Product. It is used constantly in many fluid mediums throughout the world (a permanent solution to excessive maintenance costs on return condensate systems). The design is simple to ensure maximum operating reliability under the most challenging conditions and to provide plant operations with the
best performing, non-electric, "maintenance free" pressure energized pump available.
Our representatives are available to help you select the proper pump for your operations. Information needs are: return condensate load, vertical lift and pressure in return, and available steam-air pressure at location.
Optional equipment features available include: EM patented cycle counter to meter volume of liquid pumped, sight glass for visual satisfaction, and insulating blanket for increased energy savings.
The standard maximum operating pressure will be dictated by the pump unit mounting plate: ductile iron mounting plate - 125 psig; carbon steel mounting plate - 150 psig.
To further reduce labor costs, EM offers an exchange/rebuild program to align with your PM outage schedules. Refer to the Maintenance Bulletin which accompanies the unit.
